Boston Brutality
On April 3rd, 2001 a boy Justin Ronchetti was shot and killed by a Boston City undercover police officer. He was 21 years old and my only child had a drug problem and had been struggling with it for almost a year. His getting no answers from the police department. Actually, they're pretty useless and extremely insensitive to his loss. The police, without all the relevant facts, said to him over the phone when I asked about my son's death they said that he used his car as a weapon. You see, somehow the police officer wound up on the hood of my son's car. The police officer, again he was undercover, held on to the sunroof with two hands. Somehow he freed up one of his hands to pull his weapon out to fire two rounds through the open sunroof. The reason, according to the press, was the officer had no choice.

Football star killed by two white officers

DuBose, previously of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets was shot by two white San Diego police officers. The officers were investigating a burglary when they came upon the Notre Dame graduate. An investigation by the family's attorney revealed that DuBose cooperated with the officers' investigation until they began to "harass and intimidate" him. The officers claimed that DuBose charged at them with a pair of nunchakus sticks, a martial arts weapon that he allegedly wrestled away from one of them. Several onlookers said DuBose was shot in the back. To add insult to injury after shooting DuBose the officers stood over his body for more than ten minutes before calling an ambulance. An autopsy report revealed that DuBose was shot twelve times, six in the back. When asked to explain how a young man of DuBose's stature could end up being killed in this manner San Diego's police chief called it an isolated incident.

Abused by police

Abused by law officers in the United States is one of the most serious human rights violations in the country. The violations persist nationwide, in rural, suburban, and urban areas of the country, committed by various law enforcement personnel including local and state police, sheriff's departments, and federal agents. Police have engaged in unjustified shootings, severe beatings, fatal chokings, and unnecessarily rough treatment. While the proportion of repeatedly abusive officers on any force is generally small, responsible authorities— including law enforcement supervisors, as well as local and federal government leadership—often fail to act to restrain or penalize such acts.

Sean Bell

Police Brutality is when you are mis-treated by a law enforcer. By mis-treated i mean that u are beaten, torched or even killed by a law enforcer. Over the last couple of years police have got out of control, they have took lives and beaten and even torched human. The most recent victim of police brutality is Sean Bell, he was killed by 4 officers in a shoot out where he didn't shoot back. the officers shot at him 50 times and not one bullet was shot back. The worst part about this is that he didn't do anything illegal and he was getting married the same day. Sean Bell and his friends were at a gentleman's club called Kahlua. "Where a altercation was said to had happen" and one of the men yelled out "yo get my gun". So the undercover officer followed one of the two groups to there car. Sean Bell and his friends got into the car and hit a minivan then the cops started shooting at them. The bullets penetrated the car and Bell was shot in the neck his shoulder and his right arm. His friends were shot to they all went to the hospital where Bell was pronounced dead and one of his friends was in critical condition, and the other in stable condition. The four officers were all indicted with charges. Even though a man lost his life justice was served.

Abner Louima

In 1997 Hatian immigrant was arrested outside a Brooklyn night club, but nots all that happen that night. When he was arrested, he wasnt beaten on ar shot 41 times he was tortured and "sodomized" by two officers. Officer Thomas Weise and officer Thomas Bruder took Abner Louima to the 70th precint and while he was in hand cuffs two more officers came in and tortued him. While Charles Schwarz held him down then
Justin Volpe stuck a broken broom stick in his anus tearing a one- inch hole in his rectum and bladder. Volpe is serving 30 years in prison while Schwarz faces up to life for holding down the victim while Volpe sodomized him. In this justice was served, all the officers that particpated in this crime were convicted and are doing time. But the victim still has to live with the images of his torture and his injuries.

Amado Diallo
On february 4, 1999 four N.Y. city officers shot and killed Amadou Dillao for know reason. He was a immigrant from Guinea, West Africa. He was coming home late one night and four plain clothes police officers rushed him and he went to pull out his wallet to show the officers his I.D. and they started shooting,41 bullets fired and 19 bullets ripped through this innocents man body killing him. Then the those same four cops ran in his house and tried to look for something that could explain the reason why they have just killed an innocent unarmed black man. It gets even worse then that,in march 2000 a state court acquitted the four cops of all charges then the U.S. justice system said that they werent going to file federal civil rights charges against the four cops. Just like the Rodney King case know justice was served!
Rodney King

In the year of 1991 a man by the name of Rodney king was tortured by the police in L.A. He was a taxi driver and lived a normal life until that night he was struck more then 50 times with metal botans by 4 white officers. He desereved to get punished but not in the way he was that night. Those officers violated his civil rights to the highest degree, they put him in the hospital with serious injuries. Even though the video was entered into evidence during the trial an all white jury ruled that there wasn' t enough evidence to convict the 4 officers. After the trail the residents of L.A. formed a riot and 54 people lost there lives. But this trail just proves that racism still exist with our government and country.
